Charcoal & pencil
Soft shadows, expressive lines and the character of paper. The starting point for portraits and studies.
The person behind the pencil.
I’m Khushi, an artist drawn to the quiet details: the shape of a smile, the fall of light, the things that make a face familiar.
Charcoal and pencil are at the heart of my practice. I also work in oils, exploring the same stories through colour. Each piece begins with looking closely, and grows one mark at a time.
This is a place to wander through my work, or begin something of your own.
Let’s make something together
Soft shadows, expressive lines and the character of paper. The starting point for portraits and studies.
A different way of looking. For a painting commission, we’ll talk through the subject, scale and palette together.
A reference photograph is the beginning. Tell me who they are, what the moment means, and what you’d like to remember.
